I started the fondant class. This is my first cake. Fondant is really easy to work with. We did these ribbon cakes (this picture is actually the back of the cake) and we made some fondant roses that we will be using on our final cake.

Next week we are making royal icing flowers. Johnny and I thought maybe we'd take them off the cake and mail them to you!

PS. We have this woman in our ward who started a cake business just this year out of her home on post. Her husband bakes the cakes and she decorates them. Her business is so big she now does like 3-4 cakes a week. Her cakes are amazing-www.funkymonkeycakes.com
