Pretzel rods are so easy to make. I just melt my chocolate in a saucepan with tiny bit of corn syrup or water to thin it. Then I rolled it in Heath bits, my favorite ;-) These are fun because you can really go wild with your imagination. Use butterscotch or peanut butter chips, roll them in mini-M &M's or sprinkles etc. You can also do a layer of Carmel, let it dry on wax paper then do chocolate over that layer and drizzle with white chocolate. So yummy!

I never thought of cornsyrup. Some people use wax, I always use a little shortening. Corn syrup would definately taste better!
