I love making cards and I love painting. It's been awhile since I had painted or drew anything so I used this template that I got from Greeting Cards Galore. I used watercolor paper, 140 lb. cold press, traced my pattern (you could also use transfer paper) and painted.
I've also heard that you can put watercolor directly onto your stamps but I couldn't get it to work right. The color just went all over the paper. So if anyone knows how to do it please let me know.
"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before...Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty..."~President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
